These are then carefully laid out and nested in rows, before being hand stitched together in a specific, intermittent pattern. This hand stitching process ensures the spring units are secured within the mattress unit, whilst providing each spring pocket with the flexibility to compress independently to one another, and provide you with the ultimate level of support and comfort.

The use of the natural fibre encasement not only provides this flexibility for the springs, but also improves the breathability and absorbent qualities of the mattress.
